Project Maturity

schoolbus is a pre-alpha, documentation-first teaching project. Its useful surfaces are runnable and tested, while maturity labels keep the broader binder from implying runtime or conformance support that does not exist.

What Is Ready

  • The first artifact and workbook run from a clean checkout.
  • Final-copy guides use synthetic evidence, explicit observer boundaries, and claim-level source roles.
  • Draft, field-note, docs-only, and runtime-supported material are visibly distinct.
  • The package, documentation, examples, and dependency set pass the repository's canonical validation gate.
  • Contributor, security, source, and safety boundaries are public.

What Remains Deliberately Limited

  • The project does not claim certified conformance or complete protocol coverage.
  • Draft and docs-only pages are not parser guarantees.
  • Browser-executed Python is not currently supported.
  • Hardware capture, transmission, diagnostics, routing, replay, and operational intervention are outside the teaching surface.
  • Package publication and release tags are separate maintainer decisions.

Repository visibility and documentation hosting do not change these maturity claims. Readers should rely on each page's status strip and the support policy, not on the existence of a public URL.
